Medieval Alms Bag

Description

These Alms Bags were common in the late Middle Ages, where they held the objects required for daily life, typically suspended from a belt on the outside of the wearers costume they were often the target of the cut purse as the narrow hanging strap could be quicly sliced away in a crowd dropping the purse into a waiting hand

Our design has a soft Nappa Leather forming the bag whilst the remaining parts are in stronger Nubuck Leather, the bag comes in a number of colours all set of with high quality Bronze Fittings

The bag measures approximately 32 x 21 cm (12.5 x 10 inches)
